What materials is a car body actually made of? How many layers are there under the paint? What do the airbags in the vehicle look like, and how are they triggered? How many screws connect the body and the chassis during assembly, and how do they ensure that none are left out in the end?

As you talk with our workers, you’re sure to come up with many more questions. They’ll explain selected assembly steps firsthand and demonstrate how sophisticated tools, techniques, and the use of robots make ergonomics, precision, and vehicle safety possible. And they’ll be happy to share a few anecdotes with you.

You’ll be able to touch, feel, and participate—and with a little luck, even press the button on the window robot or help with wheel assembly. The nearly two hours will definitely fly by faster than you can imagine.
