The tour offers a perfect overview of the facility’s fascinating history, which began as a transparent production site for the Phaeton. Every room, every square foot of hardwood flooring or glass was designed to showcase the vehicle and its manufacturing process. With the shift to production of the e-Golf and later the first fully electric Volkswagen ID.3, the facility became a pioneer in electric mobility. You can still experience the most exciting stages of the final assembly of an ID.3 today, only now you have the opportunity to get even closer to the car bodies and technical equipment.
On the 45-minute guided tour, you’ll get an initial insight into selected assembly steps and techniques. In our exhibition, you can see the vehicles produced here at the site, as well as experience the latest models and developments at Volkswagen.
You’ll also learn interesting and informative facts about the building’s unique architecture, which was designed from the outset to harmonize with its surroundings. And you’ll discover the projects we’re currently working on here at the site.
